Founded in 1977 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, Wallis Electric Construction Company was built on a simple principle: provide reliable, high-quality electrical service at fair & honest prices. What began as a small family business has grown through decades of strong partnerships with local General Contractors & businesses, while never losing sight of the values it was founded on: professionalism, integrity, & craftsmanship.

Wallis Electric Construction Co. was started by George Wallis, whose goal was to serve the greater Carbondale area with dependable electrical service work. Through dedication, hard work, & a reputation for doing things the right way, the company steadily grew into the trusted electrical contractor it is today.

Today, the business is led by George’s son, Mark Wallis, who brings both hands-on experience & formal education to every project. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics from Wilkes University & has worked in the family business from a young age, learning directly from his father’s decades of experience in the field.
